Day

Make your way to Xiamen by flight or high speed train. Be met and greeted by your Easy Tour China guide, then transfer with a private vehicle to your hotel. For the remainder of the day, you may explore this romantic city on your own pace. Wander around Zhongshan Pedestrian Road to discover yourself rows of well-preserved Western style old architectures and the magical old quarters. For foodies, don’t miss tasting some local foods, such as Sa Cha noodles, fish balls, fried eggs with oyster, smoked tea flavored duck, grass jelly etc.

Be met at the hotel by your guide and start your one day Xiamen city tour, with the first stop to visit the Nanputuo Temple. This temple is located on the southern end of Xiamen, first built during the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and rebuilt during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). It is now a mighty multi-layered trapezoidal structure that overlooks the sea. Cimbing up Wulao Peak, you can enjoy a bird's eye-view of Xiamen University and Xiamen Port.

Your next spot is the Hulishan Fortress, it was an important defensive factor during the war against Japanese aggression in 1900 and 1937. In 1986, platforms of yearning for return were built at the forward position of the fortress. And in recent years, the fortress yard has been cleaned up and large-scale wall carvings “national soul” is newly built. Then we will drive through the Island Ring Road to appreciate the spectacular coastal scenery and stunning seascape along the endless coastline. If you like cycling, our guide can rent bikes for you so that you can enjoy this because road in another way.

And finally, we will get to the Gulangyu Island with a ferry, which is our last spot today. This island was just listed as a world heritage site by the UNESCO in 2017. On the island, your guide will take you to visit the Shuzhang garden in the southside of Gulangyu Island first. This garden was exquisitely designed to embody three important characteristics in gardening - hiding elements, borrowing from one's surroundings, and combining movements. Then visit the Sunlight Rock, it is the island's highest point with an altitude of 92.7 meters (304 feet). When the sunrise, sunlight illuminates the Sunlight Temple’s granite as well as the rocks.

Gulangyu Island Ferry

In the morning, your guide and driver will transfer you to the rail station to catch the high speed train to Mt. Wuyi. The train will take 3 to 3.5 hours, arrive in Mt. Wuyi, your local private guide will greet you at the exit and transfer you to the hotel.

After a short rest and fresh up, our guide will transfer you to the Nine-bend River in Mt. Wuyi, where you can enjoy a unique bamboo rafting for 2 to 3 hours. This is an relaxing experience to be able to see the amazing terrain and landscape of Mt. Wuyi, which was inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage in 1999.

Mount Wuyi is famous for its crystal clear waters and its amazingly beautiful Danxia landform.  After breakfast, we will visit the Heavenly Tour Peak, the most beautiful portion of the Nine-bend River overlooking the spectacular steep Danxia land formation.

After lunch, we will go to the Dahongpao (Red Gown) to see the Dahongpao’s mother bush, which is over 350 years old. Due to its rarity, Dahongpao Tea is considered as the King of Tea. And then have a trek to the Water Curtain Cave, this can be a very enjoyable trekking in the summer, the view is beautiful and the waterfalls are cool.

Wuyishan Mountain Landscape

This morning we will visit the historically and culturally important Xiamei Village. 8km away from Wuyishan Scenic Area, Xiamei is a peaceful village of about 500 households. In 2005, Xiamei Village has been honored as one of the "the Famous Historic and Cultural Villages in China" by the Government. The civil architecture here is prestigious for the delicate brick carving, stone carving, wood carving and colored drawing walls. Many houses are more than 300 years old, and still well preserved as they were long time ago.

Later, your guide and driver will escort you to the rail station in time, take train to your next destination or back to Xiamen.
