Day

Upon your arrival, you will be met by your guide at the exit of the arrival hall, holding a welcome sign with our logo and your name on it. Your car will drive through the Pudong New district, since the beginning of its development in 1990 when plans were first announced, Pudong has become a New Open Economic Development Zone, and has emerged as China’s financial and commercial hub. Check in at your hotel, and the rest of the day for your own exploration in Shanghai.

  • Acrobatics show in the evening - It is a recommended show in Shanghai. Acrobatics is one of the oldest performing arts in China. Here you will see the amazing feats of balance and skill.
  • Night cruise on Huangpu River- It highlights the essence of Shanghai's urban landscape. From here you can not only see the past and present of Shanghai, but also see the bright future of Shanghai.
Shanghai Yu Garden
Wake in China’s most vibrant city, and experience yourself the morning life of Shanghai, visiting Fuxing Park. At this Chinese-French style classical garden, locals Shanghainese spend their leisure morning hours, playing Tai Chi, having fun with kids, walking with fresh air…Afterwards, we will transfer to visit the Yu Garden, which was built at Ming Dynasty. It used to be a private garden with 400 years' history; it features traditional architectural style of Yangtze Delta. After that, visit Old Quarters of Town God Temple (Yuyuan Market), where you can look at traditional way of people’s life, the houses, markets and people. Enjoy Dim-sum lunch. It is a very popular meal in China, and it often associate with teahouse culture in Hong Kong and Guangdong. In the afternoon, we will go ahead to Shanghai Tower, which is the tallest building in China and the 2nd tallest building in the whole world. Taking the world's fastest elevator to the 546m high floor, the world's highest observation deck, you can have a bird view of the city. The last stop today is the Bund, which is the waterfront to see newly-erected modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period.

Today, transfer from Shanghai to a classic Chinese water town Tongli. It is an age-old but very well preserved water township with a history of more than 1,000 years. It’s a really wonderful travel destination with traditional architecture and bridges. Experience a peaceful, slow-paced life as the locals do in Tongli and ride a boat to cruise the lakes and bridges,you will have a general idea of this captivating water-town. Transfer back to Shanghai in the afternoon.
