United Arab Emirates is an important nation in the Middle East. After China and UAE established the formal diplomatic tie in November 1, 1984, the relationship of the two countries turned on a new leaf.

Currently the United Arab Emirates is the China’s second largest trading partner in West Asia after Saudi Arabia, and the 5th oil supplier of China in 2023. Following the China’s Belt and Road Initiative, more and more Chinese companies went to UAE for investment and infrastructure construction. In September of 2022, The UAE’s Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center announced that the two nations had signed an agreement on UAE’s lunar rover mission in 2026. In early 2024, together with Saudi Arabia and Egypt, UAE joined the BRICS at the same time. There is reason to believe that there will be more potential economic cooperation and cultural exchange between China and the United Arab Emirates.

China's vast landscapes and rich history provide tons of attractions to UAE tourists looking for a unique travel experience in this Oriental nation. The fast economic development and advanced infrastructure lay the foundation for ensuring a comfortable and enriching vacation for Muslim and non-Muslim travelers. Cities like Shanghai, a bustling metropolis, seamlessly blend a rich history with a modern skyline. Whether you’re exploring the historic Bund, sampling local street food, or browsing through the stunning skyscrapers in Pudong CBD and the trendy boutiques of Xintiandi, there’s no shortage of things to see and do.

Beyond the modern marvels, China boasts historical wonders that leave a lasting impression. The Great Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, snakes across rugged mountains in the north of the national capital - Beijing and offers a glimpse into China's ancient past and impressive engineering feats.

For those searching for a unique cultural encounter, Xi'an boasts the awe-inspiring Terracotta Warriors, as well as old Muslim quarter. This vast army of life-sized terracotta sculptures, buried for centuries, guarded the tomb of China's first emperor. Venturing further south, Guilin, with its mesmerizing Karst landscapes and enchanting Li River, offers a chance to immerse oneself in breathtaking natural beauty. Chengdu, a haven for giant pandas, provides a heartwarming experience for animal lovers. From the bustling modernity of Shanghai to the historical significance of the Great Wall and the Terracotta Warriors, China offers a diverse tapestry of experiences that cater perfectly to the interests of UAE tourists seeking an exceptional adventure.

As one bucket list destination, China will never let you down with a plethora of unique travel experiences. Currently UAE citizens are visa-exempt to enter China for up to 30 days. Why not come and take the once-in-a-lifetime holiday here!

  • What about drinks?

Local tea is commonly served with meals and there is a variety of soft drinks, local and imported beers and wines available for purchase. You should not drink the tap water, bottled water is inexpensive and readily available. If you like a 'cuppa', you may like to bring along a small supply of tea bags, coffee and milk powder. Most rooms have electric jugs or thermos flasks of boiling water to make hot.

  • What are the toilet facilities like on a China tour?

All of hotels reserved by Easy Tour China for you are equipped with western style bathrooms and toilets. Obviously in the more remote areas, toilets may be a little more basic, but clean and simple is common. Whilst sightseeing, toilet facilities at restaurants and local tourist sites can vary and we would recommend that you carry tissues, wet wipes or disinfectant gel with you, “just in case”.

  • What should I pack?

Casual clothing is appropriate at all times although clothes that are too revealing are still frowned upon in all over China. Try to pack lightly as your trip may involve an amount of personal baggage handling as porters are often not available except in larger hotels. For security reasons it is essential that your baggage can be locked whilst during air transportation between cities. At times, you may not be able to check into your hotel room immediately or be able to access your main bags. To ensure your comfort, a change of clothes in your hand luggage to coincide with local weather conditions is always handy. All personal toiletries should be taken with you and small packets of tissues or wet wipes are recommended. A small medical kit containing medication to alleviate common ailments is suggested.
