Arrive at Beijing. Our Beijing tour guide will meet you at the airport & transfer to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Private escorted Beijing city tour to Tiananmen Square first. It is arguably claimed as the largest public square in the world. Then go to the Forbidden City. This large palace building was built between 1406 and 1420, and it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. Later, we move on to the Temple of Heaven, included in the World Heritage List in 1998 and it is a well-preserved Altars building complex.

  • The Forbidden City closes on each Monday, your tour consultant will helps you adjust the tour itinerary if it happens to be Monday.  

OPTIONAL NIGHT SHOW

  • Beijing Kung Fu Show: A rare chance to watch the real Shaolin Kung Fu. The performers are the best and have mastered the difficult moves. 
  • Beijing Opera Show: It is one of the most famous traditional Chinese opera. The artists wear heavy make-up and act out the legends and romance with their unique style of singing and dance.

Forbidden City

Private excursion to the Great Wall at Mutianyu today. The Great Wall is one of the great wonders in the world and the symbol of China. Mutianyu is 70km from city center and it takes around 1.5hrs from your hotel. This section of the Great Wall was built in Ming Dynasty was used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. You will take around 2-3 hours to walk on the 2.5km walls and 23 towers.Transfer back to hotel for a rest and before enjoy the famous and delicious Peking Duck Banquet in local restaurant.

Kind Reminder: 

  • Round-trip cable car ride is included at the Great Wall. If you would like to descend by toboggan, please tell your tour guide in advance.

Explore Hutong with a 30min rickshaw riding in the morning. Namely Beijing's traditional alleyways, Hutong offers the chance to see the local people's life. After lunch in courtyard family, you will take high speed train to Xian. The train from Beijing to Xian takes 4.5hrs  - 5.5hrs with highest speed at 300kmh (186mph). Arrive at Xian, be met & transferred to your hotel. Evening is the free time at leisure.

Hutong

After breakfast in hotel, you will drive out of downtown to the west of Xian to visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It was discovered on March of 1974, buried 1.5 km to the east of Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum mound. Awarded as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, it is known as the eighth wonder of the world and a museum to display terra-cotta warriors and horses in Qin Dynasty. 

In the afternoon, transfer back to downtown and visit the old Muslim quarter, a stroll along the street, you will see and taste all kinds of savory local snacks. At night you may consider a stroll at the Grand Tang Ever-bright City and experience the unique vibe of ancient China.

Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum

After breakfast, visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Situated inside Ci'en Temple, it is one of the famous Buddhist pagodas  in China. The main function of it was to hold sutras and figurines of Gautama Buddha that were brought to China from India by the seventh-century Buddhist monk, scholar, traveller, and translator Xuanzang. Then visit the Ancient Xian City Wall in the downtown, which is the best-kept and biggest city wall in China. You can either take  a walk or rent a bike to ride on the wall. In the afternoon, transfer to airport and fly to Guilin, be met your private Guilin tour guide and transferred to the hotel with your private guide & vehicle. The rest of the day is free at leisure.

Take a leisurely Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, a wonderful 3.5-hour cruise enjoying the stunning landscape along the river and mountains. Lunch on board. Disembark around 1.30pm at  Yangshuo, the beautiful small town famous for its Karst landscape. Upon you arrival in Yangshuo, you may spend some time at the 1400-year-old West Street for souvenir shopping and savoring a cup of tea/coffee. Later, drive to the rural area to enjoy the stunning landscape. Stay overnight at Yangshuo.

  • Impression Liusanjie Show – An open-air live show beside Li River of Yangshuo, it introduces the beautiful scenery of Li River, the colorful culture of the ethnic groups in Guangxi and the brave imagination of the excellent artists in China.

Li River cruise

Transfer to Guilin and visit Reed Flute Cave, a fantastic stalactites and stalagmites formation which known as "Natural Art Gallery". If time permits, climb up Fubo Hill at the bank of Li River to get a bird view of the city.Transfer to airport in time to take flight to Shanghai.

Full day trip of Shanghai city to 4 attractions today: first, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, 468-meter-high in total, its 267-meter-high ball has a revolving restaurant and a scenery-viewing platform that can accommodate 1,600 people. Secondly, pay a visit to Yu Garden to appreciate its brilliant historical garden art and have a leisure stroll in it. Jade Buddha Temple comes the third one, which is the most popular Buddhist temple in Shanghai boasting 2 precious jade Buddha sculptures from Burma. At last you will visit the Xintiandi, an affluent car-free shopping, eating and entertainment district of Shanghai. The district is composed of an area of reconstituted traditional mid-19th century shikumen ("stone gate") houses on narrow alleys.

  • The Acrobatics Show at night- It is not to be missed in Shanghai. Acrobatics is one of the oldest performing arts in China. Here you will see the amazing feats of balance and skill.

Yu Garden

Around Shanghai, there are many famous water towns. Today we drive to the ancient Zhujiajiao water town for a half day tour to see the elegant watery views there. Then transfer back to visit the Bund, a symbol of Shanghai and an epitome of Shanghai's modern history, where the past and the future meet with the colonial style buildings along the Bund that facing the new futuristic buildings of Pudong. Then stroll along Nanjing Road, which is the one of the world's busiest shopping streets in the world.

  • If you take flight from Pudong Airport, you can try the Maglev train from Longyang Station to Pudong Airport. It takes 7min only for the 29.86km distance and highest speed is 431km/hr (267miles/hr).

    Hello. I am interested in a trip for 10 days not 11 days (we can pass over one day in Shanghai) but we need a good price with no hidden pricese and traying to see as much as possible like nature and cultural atractions and we are not interested in shops and souvenirs. We are photographers and usualy dont spend to much time in a place. Thanks

    We are family 2 adults, 2 Children (Ages 14, 10) and 1 Senior (Age74) All are vegetarian. We have to ensure that we get vegetarian food please.. The dates of travel will be Arriving in Beijing on Dec 22 3pm and Leaving Shangai on Dec 30 11pm Or we can book tickets to start at Shangai at 3 pm on Dec 22 and return from Beijing on 30th night or 31st early morning 1 am. We are ok with any form of internal transport flight or train.. If the time taken is similar, will prefer the cheaper option or a mix of both. If flying makes more sense in the time perspective we would prefer flying.. But Please let us know the luggage allowance so that we can plan accordingly We would like to visit Beijing, Xian, (Guilin or Yanzee river cruise or Zhangangli Park)and Shangai. In Beijing other than the regular tourist attractions we would also like to visit the zoo. We will need 2 rooms, Decently Sized, 1 with a queen bed, and an other triple occupancy with 3 twin beds. and rooms that have a fridge and microwave in them.

    Good day I am planing an escorted tour to China for me and my wife. Can you help? We arrive Tuesday 16 October 2018 in Beijing and fly back to South Africa on Tuesday 30 October 2018 out of Beijing. I would like to see the most of China but not Hong Kong ( i have been in Hong Kong a few times) Do you have any tours that will fall between 16 - 30 October 2018 ?
