This China winter discovery tour will give you the opportunity to enjoy an amazing trip in northeast of China. The trip covers Dalian, Shenyang, and ends in Harbin; it will definitely offer you a pleasant and memorable experience in these beautiful destinations.

Upon arrival, our guide will meet you at the airport. Transfer to the hotel for check-in.

In the morning, visit the Charm of Sea Square. Then go to the Russian Street to experience its thick atmosphere of Russia style. Xinghai Square comes the next spot. Encompassing an area of 1.1 million square meters, it may be the largest one in Asia of the same type. It was open to public in June 1997 in memory of the Hong Kong SAR's return to the mainland. Later, go to Laohutan Ocean Park where will bring great fun to the family to watch varies kinds of sea animals.

Drive to visit Golden Pebble Beach, one of the most popular destinations in Dalian. Surrounded by sea water on three sides, it consists of two peninsulas and a sea-water bathing place in between. The beach is an ideal place to relax in the summer with dense forest, soft sand, clear water and gentle breeze. Or go to Dalian Forest Park to get close to the lovely animals. Transfer to the train station and head for Shenyang by high speed train (2.5 hours).

After breakfast, go to the Shenyang Imperial Palace(Gu Gong) first. It was built between 1625 and 1636 and is the former imperial palace of the early Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). In 2004, it was included in the UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage List as an extension of the Imperial Palaces of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in China. Secondly, visit Zhaoling Mausoleum, a glorious feudalistic emperors’mausoleum, which is the buried place of the second Pioneering Emperor of Qing Dynasty, Emperor Taizhong and Empress Xiaoduan. Later, proceed to the former Residence of General Zhang Zuolin to appreciate its grand design and learn some history and life story about the general Zhang Zuolin.

Take a mid-day speed train to Harbin (3 hours). Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel. After dinner, we will visit the highlights of this tour as well as the highlights of the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival - Ice and Snow World - an interesting site which operates each night and features illuminated full size buildings made from blocks of ice.

After breakfast, visit the Saint Sofia Church and the Central Street. It is the largest Orthodox church in Far East and with an elegant Byzantine style, it is 53.25 meters high with a floor area of 721 square meters. Then take part in some ice activities at your own expense (e.g. take the horse/dog drawn sled, watch winter swimming etc.). After lunch, proceed to the Siberian Tiger Park. Being established in 1996, it boasts about 800 Siberian tigers at all ages, which makes it the largest natural reserve for Siberian tigers in the world. After dinner, you will be heading to Ice Lantern Exhibition.

In the morning, visit Jile Temple and the highest steel tower in Asia - the Dragon Tower. After lunch, drive to the Sun Island Park to enjoy the enormous snow sculptures. Later, the rest of the day is free for leisure.
