After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby and then drive about 15mins to visit the Cangshan Mountain. Cangshan Mountain is consisting of 19 peaks and 18 streams in total. The Horse and Dragon Peak is the main peak, towers 4,122 meters about sea level and the mountaintop is covered with snow all the year round. Its slopes are covered with green trees and tea bushes. From the foot of the mountain, you will take the Gantong cable car to the mountain slopes, and start your trekking from there. Walk along the Yudai Road, take around 2 hours each way to experience this 16km-long paved walking trail which passes some temples, waterfalls, caves and shrines, enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of Erhai Lake and Dali Ancient Town from the mountain. After the trekking, you will take the cable car down and go back to the Dali Ancient Town.
Lunch is arranged at a local restaurant, where you will have chance to enjoy the delicious local food. In this afternoon, you will visit Dali ancient town with accompany of your private guide. Start from the South gate of the ancient town, you will go through alleys inside the town. Some of these alleys are popular among foreign tourists and one is named Yangren Street (foreigners’ street) by locals. Head for the Christian Church, which is a national treasure that blends traditional Bai’s architectural style and western architectural style. First built in 1927, the beautiful church has been standing here over 90 years.

In the morning, you will be transferred to the Erhai Lake. With an altitude of 1972 meters above sea level, Erhai Lake is a beautiful highland lake of Yunnan Province and one of the seven largest fresh water lakes in China. As it shapes like an ear, and wave like a sea, the locals named it 'Erhai' - Ear Sea in Chinese language. Our guide will rent bikes for you so that you can enjoy a leisurely cycling around the lake, depending on your fitness level, this cycling can takes 3 to 6 hours. During the cycling, you will find some Buddhist temples and villages, make some stops and visit one or two fishing villages - highly recommended. The fishing village of Bai Minority provides you a vivid experience of attractive Bai culture and lifestyle. The local farmers still adopt their traditional fishing skill - cormorant fishing. West of the lake lies the Cai Village Wetland Park, you can have some rest and enjoy a short cruise there too.
