Upon arrival in Dali, you will be warmly welcomed by your tour guide, and transfer to hotel check in.
At appropriate time in the afternoon, you will be escorted by your tour guide and have a stroll at Dali Old Town. Dali Old town is one of the most famous ancient towns in China, and it is a major stop of Ancient Tea Horse Road. You can spend a few hours wandering at the charming town, sample their local foods and buy some souvenirs. There are 2 city gates are well preserved, one is the South Gate, which is the oldest building in the old town and also it has to be the landmark of the town. The other one is the North Gate which was built in Ming Dynasty. In a quiet alley of the busy town, you will find the Catholic Church; it is a beautiful architecture that blends of Bai-style and traditional Chinese style. Mass is held here every Sunday. In the old town, there is a street is lined with souvenir shops, restaurants, bar and cafes, we call this street Yangren Street (Westerner’s Street). Enjoy your leisure time there and have a cup local coffee.
This morning you will be taken to visit Cangshan Mountain (Cangshan) which is located about 2km to the west of the Dali city. Cangshan Mountains consist of 19 peaks and 18 streams in total, and are covered with green trees and tea bushes. Today you will take Gantong Cable way to half way up the mountain, have a walk along the Yu Dai Yun You Road (Jade Belt Road) and enjoy the spectacular view of Erhai Lake. Descent the mountain by cable car and continue your tour to Three Pagodas. The three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple are the oldest standing structures in Yunna, and it has become the emblem of Dali. With Cangshan Mountain in the background, the magnificent towers stand on a hill and people can see them from almost any vantage point within Dali.

Today you will have a relaxing trekking tour along Erhai Lake. Erhai Lake located about two kilometers east of Dali, it is a beautiful highland lake of Yunnan Province and one of the seven largest fresh water lakes in China. The lake is not only owns the charming natural scenery, but also has rich cultural attractions, such as some old Buddhist temples and fishing villages of Bai Minority. During the hiking trip, you will have a chance to visit Cai Village and Longkan Village.
At appropriate time in the afternoon, transfer to airport and fly to your next destination.

This morning, leave Dali and drive for about 2hrs to Shaxi Old Town. Before reaching to Shaxi Old Town, you will go to visit Shibao Mountain which located in the northwest section of Shaxi Town. The Danxia landscape is the most unique view of all and the Shizhongshan Grottoes is another highlights, which were created by the ancient Bai People in the historical period of the Tang and Song dynasties ( 850 A.D -1179A.D.). Afterwards drive 30mins to Shaxi Old town. It is a well-kept Bai Minority village, and it was one of the important trading centers on the Tea-Horse Ancient Road since several hundred years. Have stroll at the Old town and stay one night here.

This morning is for your free exploration at Shaxi Old Town. By far the best way of getting around is by bike, although walks of any length are also available. Friday is the most bustling day in Shaxi Ancient town, since there is a Friday Fair that has been preserved since the Tea-Horse Ancient Road Period. In the market, you will see many fruits, vegetables, daily necessities, clothes, Chinese herbal medicines and so on. The villagers living in the surrounding villages will come to the town on this day. If your stay in Shaxi just on Friday, the Friday Market visit should not be missed.
At the appropriate time in the afternoon, drive back to Dali or Lijiang for your departure.
