Your private guide will be waiting for you in the airport arrival hall and help you to take a Maglev Train from the airport to the Longyang Station, where you will meet your driver and be transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. You may have a leisure stroll at the Bund to enjoy the night view of Shanghai.

- ERA Intersection of Time Acrobatic Show is a fascinating show that tells a story from ancient times till present day. This show includes surprising feats, live music, complete plots and other spectacular features.
After breakfast, we will transfer to visit the Yu Garden, which was built at Ming Dynasty. It used to be a private garden with 400 years' history; it features traditional architectural style of Yangtze Delta. After taking a walk at Old Quarters of Town God Temple (Yuyuan Market) to have a look at traditional way of people’s life, you will go to visit Jing'an Temple (Jing An Si). This temple was first built in 247 AD in the Wu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period of ancient China, is one of the most famous buddhist temples in Shanghai city. Enjoy vegetarian lunch in nearby restaurants and then continue your visit to the Xintiandi, an affluent car-free shopping, eating and entertainment district of Shanghai. The district is composed of an area of reconstituted traditional mid-19th century shikumen ("stone gate") houses on narrow alleys. Visit the Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in China, to end today’s sightseeing.

Pick up at your Shanghai hotel in the morning and transfer to Luchaogang Pier for fast ferry to Putuo Island, the cruise ride will takes around 2.5 hours. After disembarking, you will check into your hotel for a short rest and then start your visit with a short walk from the dock to Puji Temple. It is the one of the three most famous temples on Putuo Mountain as well as one of the best-preserved temple in China.
The take a park bus to the Thousand-Step Beach on the east side of Putuoshan Island. Enjoy the gorgeous beach view and have a leisure walk along the beach. After that, we will go ahead to Purple Bamboo Forest by the park bus. Here you will visit the Unwilling-to-go Guanyin Temple to learn about the legend of the Guanyin statue inside.
Afterwards, take a relaxing walk reach to the Guanyin statue which is 33 meters tall and the most iconic spot of Mount Putuo. At last, take a leisure walk or take the park bus back to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of day on your own.

After breakfast at hotel, our guide will accompany you to take the park bus to Fayu Temple which is the second largest temple on Mount Putuo. The Nine-dragon Caisson on the ceiling is the most eye-catching sight in the main hall and it was acclaimed as one of three treasures of on Mount Putuo. Afterwards, we will hike about 1.5hours to the top of Mount Putuo fo visit Huiji Temple. If you would like to save energy and time, you could also choose to take cable car to reach the summit (The extra cost for the cable car: CNY40 for one-way ride and CNY70 for round-way trip).
After the tour at Huiji Temple , take park bus to the pier for fast ferry back to Shanghai. End of your 4-day Shanghai Putuoshan Buddhist tour.
