Then we’ll transport you to Wangxian Valley where you can famous for its cliffside hanging houses. Your trip will then take you to Hunan province to visit Fenghuang water town and epic Avatar Hallelujah mountains in Zhangjiajie.

Upon your arrival at Huangshan airport or train station, you will be met by driver and transfer to the hotel at Tunxi old street. You can have stroll along the street and get to know something about Chinese culture.

In the morning, drive to Huangshan Mountain for 80 kilometers (1.5 hours). Take the cable car at Yungu Station to the top of the mountain. After lunch, you will start this walking tour of Yellow Mountain and savor up all the highlights on the mountain. You can walk around Celestial Capital Peak, Lotus Peak and Bright Top where they are the ideal places to gaze over the breathtaking seas of clouds. If time permits, visit the outstanding West Sea Grand Canyon.
Go down the mountain and drive to Tangmo Village, stay at a featured hotel. Tangmo is a small peaceful village by an old canal in the countryside. Hardly touched by mass tourism and tour bus groups, it is the perfect spot to see how old rural China was.

After breakfast, drive to visit Chengkan Village and visit Tangyue Memorial Archways. Chengkan Village is famous for its well-preserved and amazingly designed residential architecture of Ming Dynasty. Additionally, Chengkan Village is a wonder among the ancient villages in China for its unique layout. It’s said that it was constructed according to the theory of the Eight Trigramkan in I Ching (the Book of Changes). The Tangyue Archways groups include 7 memorial archways. Three were built in Ming Dynasty, the other four in Qing, in a successive order of loyalty, filial piety, women's chastity and charity. Each of them was built in relation with a moving story and vividly reveals in one way or another moral values. In recent years, it has been a popular spot for filming the historical movies. Later, drive back to Huangshan City.

After breakfast, drive to Huangling and take cable car up to the village. The Hui-style buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties were built in line with terrains and distributed in a stepped fan shape, quaint and elegant. If you come in September-November, you will see the traditional custom of locals – Shaiqiu, which means drying the produce under the sun for further storage. Newly harvested produce of different colors such as red peppers, corn, pumpkin, green beans and yellow chrysanthemum are placed in bamboo baskets on rooftops and balconies.
Later, go down the village by cable car, then drive to Wangxian Valley, which is nestled in a deep valley surrounded by towering mountains, lush forests, and cascading waterfalls. Its rugged terrain and pristine environment make it feel like a hidden paradise. One of the highlights is the series of steep cliffs and rock formations that create a sense of awe-inspiring grandeur. Visitors can explore narrow pathways carved into the cliffs, offering panoramic views of the valley below.

After breakfast, further explore the valley with breathtaking sceneries. In the early afternoon, drive to Shangrao Railway Station to take a bullet train to Fenghuang. Nestled along the tranquil Tuo River, Fenghuang Ancient Town is a beautifully preserved riverside town in the west of Hunan Province, known for its traditional stilted wooden houses and cobblestone streets that reflect centuries of history. After arrival at Fenghuang, transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

Half day escorted tour of Fenghuang old town: it is home to Miao and Tujia minority groups. Have a stroll in the town, and walk through the old courtyards and riverside stilted buildings. Taking a small boat ride on the Tuo River, you will pass through the most essence part of the old town, which is from North Gate Pier to Longevity Palace. Visit the famous Chinese writer Shen Congwen's Former Residence, his novel "The Border Town" makes this small town famous to the world. Later, visit Hongqiao (Bridge of Rainbow), the landmark of the ancient town. The bridge was first built in Ming Dynasty and then renovated in 1670. Continue your tour in the old town and explore few more main sites there, such as East Gate Tower, Wanming Pagoda, etc.
Be transferred to the train station. Take a high speed train to Zhangjiajie (the guide will be with you on the train to Zhangjiajie). Be met by driver at the rail station and transfer to visit Tianmen Mountain. Take the cable car up. Visit the Tianmen Cave, a massive natural archway that resembles a "Heaven's Gate." Experience the thrilling glass walk perched on a cliff edge, and enjoy the stunning scenery. Later, drive to Wulingyuan for hotel check-in.

Visit Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. Take Bailong Outdoor Elevator up to the top for an exciting experience and spectacular scenery. It is believed to be the world's tallest outdoor glass elevator with the total height of 335 meters (1,099 feet). It offers breathtaking panoramic views of the park's towering sandstone pillars and lush valleys as it swiftly transports visitors up the cliffs. Walk around to discover ‘Avatar Hallelujah Mountain’ and ‘World’s No.1 Bridge’. The 1,080- meter-tall Avatar Hallelujah Mountain (3,540 feet) is originally known as ‘Southern Sky Column’, a towering sandstone pillar in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, famously inspiring the floating Hallelujah Mountains in the movie Avatar. The World’s No.1 Bridge here is a stunning natural stone arch bridge, often regarded as the tallest and longest natural bridge in the world, with a height of about 350 meters (1,150 feet).
Later, visit Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, another highlighted attraction known for its dramatic sandstone peaks, lush forests, and panoramic views from its elevated platforms. Take cable car down to save your time and energy.

After breakfast, enter the national park again, and go to Gold Whip Stream, which is a popular destination of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, showcasing the area's unique Karst landscape and biodiversity. Its tranquil beauty and easy hiking trails make it an ideal spot for nature lovers, photographers, and families. After that, transfer to the train station or the airport in Zhangjiajie, and head to your next destination.
