With many nick names like "Mountain City", "Fog City", and "One of China’s Four Furnaces", Chongqing is a historical city with over 3000 years, located in the southwestern region of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. But it has become a "Trendy City" because of the futuristic architectures built on the mountains.
Upon your arrival in Chongqing, you will be met by our representative and transfer privately to hotel check in.

2 Day 2 Chongqing City Tour: Ciqikou Ancient Town, Liziba Station, Testbed 2 Arts Center, Hongyadong
Picked up from hotel at 9am and visit Ciqikou Ancient Town. Formerly an important and busy transport hub in the area, it has become a prosperous town since Ming and Qing dynasties. You can still experience its rich folk cultures and customs today while stroll in the town. For foodies, it is also a great place to explore local snacks. In the afternoon, back to city center and you will visit General Joseph W. Stilwell Museum. The museum is built to memorize this Allied Chief of Staff in the China Theater during World War II. Some walk from the musuem is the famous Liziba Station, where you view the stunning light rail train running in and out of the building! Later, you will visit Testbed 2 Arts Center, a cultural and creative park built on the hilltop of Eling. It was formerly printing factory half-century ago the whole complex was kept and transformed into the TESTBED 2 arts center. The park is named after the TESTBED 1 on the east bank of the River Thames in London, both of which were designed by the famous British architect Will Alsop. Tour finished at Hongyadong (Hongya Cave), a modern landmark nestled next to the Jialing River. This 11-story building features traditional timber homes built into a rock face, housing an array of restaurants, open-air bars, craft stores, and souvenir shops.If you want to view have dinner and view the night view here, you can be dropped here for more time to explore.

Continue your exploration of this metropolis today, starting from a walk along Shancheng City Footpath. Starting from the north end of Changjiang Bridge, this footpath is about 1.5km uphill to Qixinggang. It is not only a passage connecting the upper and lower parts of Chongqing but also a cultural path linking the past and present. From the top, you get a panoramic view of the city along the Yangtze River. Later, you will visit World Trade Center Rooftop 131. Take the 211.9-meter-high external sightseeing elevator, you will reach the 56th floor at 262 meters high in 85 seconds and have a panoramic view of the mountain city. Nearby Jiefangbei CBD is one of the most iconic landmarks in Chongqing, where you will enjoy a free shopping before transferring to train station for high speed train to Zhangjiajie, which takes around 2.5 hours.When arrives in Zhangjiejie, you will be picked up and transferred to hotel at Wulingyuan Scenic Area.

Pick up from the hotel in the morning, you will start your private guided Zhangjiajie tour with an exciting visit at the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, world-renowned for its sandstone landscapes. Taking cable car up to Huangshizhai (Huangshi Village) to appreciate the wide forest park on it peaks. Afternoon proceed to explore the Golden Whip Stream. This 7.5 kilometers long brook is one of the most beautiful places in whole forest park, it is well-known for its clear water and fresh air. You will have a leisure hiking about 2 hours along the stream, surrounded by grotesque rocks, If luckily, you will see some monkeys and squirrels there. Tour ends at Ten Miles Gallery, with a brisk walk along the picturesque valley lined with peaks resembling human, fingers, monkeys, lions, etc.

Afterwards, take the sightseeing bus to visit the beautiful Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, including Helong Park, West Sea Scenic Area and some other sights. Marvel at a notable setting of quartzite peaks that seem so the otherworldly. Later, take cool Tianzi Mountain cable car down the mountain and transfer back to hotel

The Grand Canyon is 15km from Wulingyuan Scenic Area. The Canyon is a great place to hike. It is surrounded by tall and steep cliffs, gorges, caves and lake. If you're adventure seeker, you will have chance to try the high-altitude zipline, VR flying experience, Via Ferrata, and bungee jumping, etc. But most popular is to walk on the glass bridge, which measures 430 metres in total length and 6 metres in width, and is suspended about 300 metres above the ground.

Today, you will visit Tianmen Mountain. Take world’s longest cable car (30 minutes) to the top of marvelous Tianmen Mountain, the ‘soul attraction’ in Zhangjiajie. It is also a paradise for adventurers and people who love nature. Challenge yourself by walking on the cliff-side Guigu Plank Roak with a 60-m glass suspended glass walkway. Learn about the history of Tianmen Temple. Have a great view of the 99-blend mountain road. Admire the Tianmen Cave - the stairway to heaven and walk down the 999-steps stairway.Your Zhangjaijie trip ends, and your guide and driver will escort you to the airport or train station to head for your next destination.
