- How about climbing up the Jingshan Hill to have a whole view of Forbidden City from the mountain top. A beautiful scene gradually opens out before you, while watching the sunset of the Forbidden City.
- You're also encouraged to idle around in the narrow hutong laneways in Houhai lake area to see the common life of Old Beijingers and find yourself a bar to drink and music.
Guided Beijing city tour on foot combined with public transportation (metro and shared car/taxi) to visit the most popular the most iconic landmarks in Beijing Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven.

Transfer to Gubeikou by private car (around 2hrs) and take a walking tour on the Great Wall. The hike starts from Gubeikou and head to Jinshanling with a small section of the walk is at the foot of the wall. Today's walk takes about 5 hours.
Overnight in a guesthouse in Gubeikou or Gubeikou Water Town. (Camping on the Great Wall is possible and highly recommended if weather permits. Don't hesitate to advise your travel advisor if you want to try.)

This morning, you continue hiking from Jinshanling towards Simatai, the east part of Jinshanling Great Wall. The hike takes around 4 hours and starts from Jinshanling scenic area, where the wall has been well restored. After around one hour walk, you will be on the wild section of the wall for 2.5hrs till descending to Jinshanling East Entrance with a walk of 30min on steps. Never miss to take awesome photos of the Great Wall! End of the hiking trip and transfer back to Beijing
