Day
Landing at Kunming International Airport, you will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel. 

Make an excursion to the Stone Forest, a typical formation of Karst topography-- the most famous tourist attraction in Kunming. Then pay a visit to a minority village on the way to experience people's life and customs. Later, have a stroll around Green Lake.

Stone Forest

Drive to visit West Hill, take a cable car up and see the Dragon Gate. You will have a panoramic view of the Dian Lake. Transfer to the airport and fly to Chongqing.

After breakfast, visit Eling Park (Goose Neck Park) to have a bird's eye view of Chongqing. Then go to the Three Gorges Museum, occupying an area of 30,000 square meters, it is a monographic museum to display the history and cultural heritage of Chongqing and the Three Gorges area. Later, wander around Ciqikou Old Town, it is where you will find the local residents dedicated to their traditional way of life, unaffected by modern influences to be found in the larger towns and cities. Free time at Jiefangbei Shopping area. After dinner, board the cruise ship.

Three Gorges Museum

On board, shore excursion to "the Ghost City"--Fengdu or Shibaozhai depending on the schedule of the cruise companies. Since 2010, some cruise companies offer optional shore excursions during your cruise, please kindly check with your travel consultant for more information.

Today you’ll get a close look of the enchanting landscape as you board a small boat and cruise along a tributary to the Yangtze to explore the exceptionally beautiful Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream depending on the arrangement of the cruise company.

Shennong Stream

Shore excursion to Three Gorge Dam, which is by far the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Disembark at Yichang. Be met and transferred to airport to fly to Shanghai. Be met and transferred to your hotel.

After breakfast, pay a visit to Yu Garden, it used to be a private garden with 400 years' history and features traditional architectural style of Yangtze Delta. Then go to Jade Buddha Temple, which is the most popular Buddhist temple in Shanghai boasting 2 precious jade Buddha sculptures from Burma. Later. Proceed to Oriental Pearl Tower, the best viewing spot of Shanghai located by the Huangpu River with the height of 468 meters. At last, stroll at the Bund, Shanghai's famous waterfront to see new-erect modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period.

Zhujiajiao is a water town on the outskirts of Shanghai, and was established about 1,700 years ago. Today, we drive to it to witness the traditional lifestyle at Yangtze Delta there. Then fly to Beijing. Transfer to the hotel.

Private escorted tour to over 500 years' historical Temple of Heaven. The Temple is basically a huge communications terminal which the Emperor used to communicate directly with Heaven and is included in the World Heritage List in 1998. Then proceed to Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. At last, go to the Forbidden City which was nominated as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1987 and recognized as one of the most important five palaces in the world.

Temple of Heaven

Today's excursion takes you to Mutianyu Great Wall, a less visited and more original part of the Great Wall. It is situated where vegetation is luxurious and over 90 percent of the land is covered with grass, forests and fruit trees. Then enjoy Hutong tour by 3-wheel rickshaw and stroll at Houhai area for leisure. The square layout of Hutong not only influences Beijinger's way of living, but also affects their thoughts and actions.
