Arrival in Beijing, be met and transfer for hotel check in.

After breakfast, enjoy 3 highlights spots today: first, go to the Temple of Heaven, a complex of religious buildings, which was the site of the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest. Then, visit Tiananmen Square, located at the heart of Beijing, it is the world's largest city center square. Thirdly, go to the Forbidden City, it was constructed between 1406 and 1420 by the Ming emperor Zhu Di and witnessed the enthronement of 14 Ming and 10 Qing emperors over the following 505 years. Later, enjoy time in the Treasure Gallery of the Forbidden City .

Temple of Heaven

Visit Badaling Great Wall, Sacred Way, Ming Tomb (Changling).Drive to visite Badaling Great Wall, one of the great wonders in the world and the symbol of China. It is the important pass for protecting Beijing City with the name of "the Key to the North Gate of Beijing." Then go to the Sacred Road, the holy lane of animals and guardians leading and protecting the Ming Tombs which always acts as a stop-over along the way to Great Wall. Pay a visit to Ming Tomb (Changling), which is the tomb for Emperor Yongle, the third Ming emperor, and his wife Empress Xu. He ruled for 22 years and made some achievements in political, military, economic, cultural and diplomatic fields.

Badaling Great Wall

Enjoy Hutong tour by the 3-wheel rickshaw. The name of a Hutong represents its origin, location or history. It is in these gray-tiled long lanes that families play, buy goods, gossip, and connect. Then be escorted to the airport and fly to Xi’an. Be met and transferred to visit the Grand Mosque. It is built in a Chinese architectural style and most of the grounds are taken up with gardens, except for some Arabic lettering and decorations, the mosque has neither domes nor traditional-style minarets.

Hutong

In the morning, transfer to visit Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which is one of the top attractions in China and famous for its historical significance and uniqueness. Then drive back to visit Wild Goose Pagoda-- the city emblem, which was first built in Tang Dynasty for the storage of Buddhist scriptures taken from India by Monk Xuanzang. Later, pay a visit to the Ancient City Wall, the most intact ancient Chinese wall in existence. It encircles and protects the ancient part of Xian City.

Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum

Transfer to take an early morning flight to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet. Be met and transferred to the hotel for acclimatization.

Visit Norbulingka, Tibet Museum, and Sera Monastery. Go to Norbulingka Park, meaning "Treasure Park ", it was first constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama and later served as the whole governmental administration. Secondly, go to the Tibet Museum. Being the first large, modern museum in the Tibet, it has a collection of around 1000 artifacts related to the cultural history of Tibet. Then Sera Monastery comes the last spot--located at the foot of Tatipu Hill in the northern suburb of Lhasa City, it is dedicated to the Gelugpa or Yellow Hat Sect, a branch of Tibetan Buddhism.

Sera Monastery

Today, 3 highlights of attractions: first, Potala Palace--the landmark of the city and this stone-and-wood-structured palace consists of the White Palace and Red Palace. Second, Jokhang Temple-- located at the center of the old Lhasa and it is the spiritual center of Tibet with a history over 1,300 years. Third, Barkhor Street-- a circular street at the center of Lhasa which is the oldest street in a very traditional city of Tibet.

Potala Palace

Transfer to the airport and fly to Chongqing. Upon arrival, be picked up to visit Ciqikou Ancient Town,dates back to the late Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) , it is where you will find the local residents dedicated to their traditional way of life, unaffected by modern influences to be found in the larger towns and cities. And then pay a visit to the Three Gorges Museum, occupying an area of 30,000 square meters, it is a monographic museum to display the history and cultural heritage of Chongqing and the Three Gorges area. After dinner, board the Yangtze Cruise at night.

Ciqikou

On board, shore excursion to "the Ghost City" - Fengdu or Shibaozhai depending on the schedule of the cruise companies. Since 2010, some cruise companies offer optional shore excursions during your cruise, please kindly check with your travel consultant for more information.

Today you’ll get a close look of the enchanting landscape as you board a small boat and cruise along a tributary to the Yangtze to explore the exceptionally beautiful Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream depending on the arrangement of the cruise company.

Shennong Stream

Shore excursion to the amazing Three Gorge Dam: it is the world's largest power station in terms of installed capacity (22,500 MW). Later, disembark at Yichang. After lunch,transfer to the Three Gorges Airport for the flight to Shanghai. Be met and transferred to take an express train to Hangzhou.

Visit the West Lake by boat. It is located in the south-west of Hangzhou. With its beautiful lakes, mountains and many attractions, it has become the world-famous tourist destination and is known as the "paradise on earth". Then visit Chinese Traditional Medicine Museum to get knowledge about Chinese medicine. Dragon Well Tea Plantation is the next spot, where you can see the process of making tea. Later, pay a visit to Six Harmony Pagoda. Built in the year of 970 A.D., it is an impressive octagonal structure of wood and brick, hung with 104 large iron bells on its flying eaves. Transfer to the Railway Station and head for Suzhou. Upon arrival, be met and checked in hotel.

West Lake

Transfer to take an express train to Suzhou. Be met at the railway station and transferred to visit Garden of Net Master-- it is the smallest of the Suzhou residential gardens, yet it is the most impressive because of its use of space which creates the illusion of an area that is much greater than its actual size. Pay a visit to Pan Gate (Panmen), a fortress suitable for ancient water-towns like Suzhou in the southern part of China. The two water gates adjoining the land gates are the only water pass linking the inside and outside of the southwestern corner of the city. Later, proceed to visit the No.1 Silk Factory. With a history of more than 80 years, it enjoys a good reputation in the silk industry. Then a private transfer to Shanghai. Check in the hotel.

Full day trip to 4 highlights:Jade Buddha Temple-- the most popular Buddhist temple in Shanghai that boasting 2 precious jade Buddha sculptures from Burma. Then go to Tianzifang old city quarter, an arts and crafts enclave that has developed from a renovated residential area in the French Concession area of Shanghai. Later, pay a visit to the most famous spot--the Bund, which is the waterfront to see new-erect modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period. At night, enjoy leisure cruise on Huangpu River and appreciate brilliant night view.
