Day
Upon your arrival at Hangzhou rail station or airport, you will be met by your English speaking driver, and then transfer to hotel. The rest of today is free for your own exploration. If the time is enough, you can guide yourself to visit highlights of this city, such as the Aberdeen Fishing Village, Victoria Peak, Victoria Harbour, Wong Tai Sin Temple etc.

Meet your guide and driver at hotel, and then transfer to the peak tram terminus. Ride the tram, a kind of oldest funicular railway up to the top of Victoria Peak. Opened in 1888, now it becomes popular experience among tourists. On a clear day, the tram journey can be very pleasant. Victoria Peak is the highest point on Hong Kong Island. It’s said that the journey to Hong Kong is not complete without a visit to Victoria Peak. The view it offering attracts a large amount of tourists.

After the peak tram, start the Peak Circle Walk which takes around 1.5hrs for 3.5km. Some of the best views of the Victoria Harbour are on the Peak Circle Walk, which winds around the highest point on Hong Kong Island. Descend the peak and be transfer to Central District. Immerse yourself to the modern street view here at Central District. We will guide you to experience the popular escalator, a pedestrian transportation system connecting the Central Business District with Mid-levels District. Continue to visit the Avenue of Stars, where honors celebrities of the Hong Kong film industry. Take a selfie with Bruce Lee on the Avenue of Starts, where a life-size bronze statue of the martial arts hero sets.

The last stop for today is Tai Kwun, a center for heritage and arts. Tai Kwun is located in the heart of Central District, in the restored Central Police Station compound, comprising three declared monuments-the former central Polica Station, Central Magistracy and Victoria Prison. You will be immersed in the rich heritage of the unique historical compound through interactive tours, heritage storytelling spaces and thematic heritage exhibitions. After the tour, transfer back hotel.

The Bruce Lee Statue at the Avenue of Stars

At the appropriate time, meet your driver at hotel and then transfer to airport for flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, be greeted by your private guide in Shanghai, and transfer to hotel. After a short rest in hotel, with accompany of your private guide, you will begin to visit a fraction of Shanghai city, Shanghai Museum and the Bund.

The Shanghai Museum (Closed on Monday), which is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. It boasts 120,000 pieces of rare and precious cultural relics in twenty-one categories, including bronze ware, ceramics, calligraphy, paintings, sculpture, furniture, jade and ivory carvings, bamboo and wood carvings, lacquer ware, oracle bones, seals, coins, and handicrafts of ethnic art. The Bund has a remarkable collection of 19th to 20th Century colonial buildings, which were originally banks, commercial and trade buildings, hotels, customs house, etc. Of all the buildings along the Bund, it’s easy to find Fairmont Peace Hotel. Since 1929, the building has been standing there for over 90 years.

This morning, drive around 1 hour to a nearby water town Zhujiajiao ancient town. Zhujiajiao Ancient Town is one of the top 4 historical and cultural old towns in shanghai, and it’s a typical water town in south China. Here you will see a town with unique old bridges across bubbling streams, small rivers shaded by willow trees, and houses with courtyards. Experience a short cruise along the canal inside the town.

In the afternoon, take elevator up to Oriental Pearl TV Tower for a panoramic view of this city. Adjacent to the Huangpu River and opposite the Bund, Oriental Pearl TV Tower is one of the most attractive landmarks and cultural symbols in Shanghai. The ticket for upper sphere sightseeing floor & exhibition hall is included for your visit.

If time permits, we will guide you to visit the Tianzifang. Tianzifang is a narrow lane dotted with local style Shikumen Houses, which is one symbol of Shanghai folk culture. Nostalgic brick walls, pieced together with elaborately paved brick pedestrian roads make Tianzifang all the more distinctive from other well-known but banal tourist sites.
