Take an exhilarating Zhangjiajie city tour to Tianmen Mountain, featuring Zhangjiajie’s highest peak, at 1518.6m. Stunning mountain peaks, thrilling glass skywalk, mysterious Tianmen Temple and Tianmen Cave are calling you. Ride the world's longest alpine passenger cableway, 7,455 meters, overlooking the 99-bend “Avenue of Heaven” in a flight of about 28 minutes before reaching the summit. Along the West Route (the most classic route), go to the glass-bottom walkway hanging from the 1400 meters cliff (optional). Then hike along the Ghost Valley Trail, which is a 1,600-meter suspended walkway, and explore the legend of the Three Kingdoms legend Ghost Valley Zi's hermitage. This naturally occurring cave, formed by a combination of karst erosion and mountain collapse, is 131.5 meters high, 57 meters wide and 60 meters deep, and is one of Zhangjiajie's iconic geological wonders. Connecting Tianmen Cave are the extremely steep 999 steps, with an average of 45° and the steepest point nearly 70°. Walk down the steps and take the Tianmen Mountain Cable Car down to the mountain gate parking lot.

This morning, your guide will lead you to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, a World Natural Heritage Site, and a World Geopark. Get out of the Bailong Elevator, towards the floating Hallelujah Mountain (Qiankun Pillar) from the Avatar movie. It is a 350-meter-high freestanding rock peak, which looks like suspending in the air when hidden in the clouds and mist.
